Book stop Brixton is growing

At #bookstopbrixton we are working on some growing ideas throughout this lockdown. Currently we are topping up the shelves daily on Somerleyton road with new titles and we will be expanding the project with a brand new garden.

Recently we worked on a project organised by Neequaye Dreph at Southbank centre where young people worked on designs which were then transferred to the windows.

#stockwellhalloffame at the Civic Trust Awards 2020

We are so pleased to announce that our project #stockwellhalloffame recently came highly commended at the Civic Trust Awards in Manchester.
Our goal has been to create great urban art in communities and we are proud to have successfully delivered this project.
Many thanks to Rock Townsend , Network homes, Kingsbury construction ,SW9 housing and Mace for their excellent work.
We are looking forward to delivering some great art activities this year at the Hall of fame. Watch this space.

Future elements at Sadlers wells theatre.

This week as part of the #futureelements showcase at sadlers wells theatre we have been working as a group to create graffiti inspired designs based on the work at our project at #stockwellhalloffame.
The T shirts will also be featured in a music video made by them to be premiered at this year's Breakin Convention at Sadlers wells theatre.
Thanks to everyone who put in hard work and the mentors.

Future elements at Sadlers wells theatre.

We are currently working at Sadlers wells theatre as part of the future elements showcase for Break-in convention.  The young people taking part are currently working on a video project which will be created this week and involves them creating a storyline, acting and producing the film.

New Film from Kenya

In November 2019 we worked on a project at People la tumaini which is a school based in Isiolo, Kenya.

 Pupils worked on a mural with artist Boyd Hill and created a series of designs for their water tanks.
