News at Six

This week has been busy at Six Brixton for the team from Watch This Space. Firstly we had visitors from Paris who came to see the work which is being carried out by our project and to check out the 'Book Stop" library.
We also created some more plant boxes made from the packing crates donated by www.martinspeed.com which were then given to residents Patsy and Pamela to spruce up their gardens.
Later in the week we were joined by the feelgood gym who helped us move materials over to the garden at the Brixton Sports and Social Club which is currently undergoing a revamp alongside the Nature Garden on Eaton Drive.

Sharing the love of Brixton

This week we have been super busy working on more of the packing crates donated by www.martinspeed.com. We are turning these into plant boxes and small playhouses which will be donated to local voluntary groups in the area.
One of our houses designed by Venus has been donated to the Brixton Sports and Social Club. And we are currently designing one for St.Johns Angell Town Primary School.
Keep checking what we do and if you want to get involved please email Boyd@signalproject.com

The Book Stops Here....

Despite the huge cold and rain we have managed to produce some work at Six Brixton for the community. We created a ' Book Stop' just next to the P5 Bus Stop which will provide Free Books to anyone passing by.
We also finished a few play houses which will be donated to Brixton Youth Centre on Vassell Road along with some long planters.
Young artist Jade also came through to do her first Graffiti piece at Six Brixton. Thanks to Ian and Albert at Martinspeed for the materials and BFK.
Stay Tuned.
