Book stop Brixton update

 We have a new book box at #bookstopbrixton on Somerleyton road. Since the beginning of lockdown the demand for books has been high. On average around 40 books per day were being taken from our stands at market row, Brixton village and Somerleyton road. To cope with this demand a new box has been installed so that more books can be provided and we can encourage more people to read.

This has also been made possible by donations of pallets from Galliford Try who are working on Brixton house next door and some funds from the go fund me fundraiser.

New boxes for #bookstopbrixton

 It's been a busy January into February 2021 at #bookstopbrixton. We have been taking donated wood from Galliford Try and using it for the garden and book stop projects.

We are building new boxes for our book shelves which will be on Somerleyton road in Brixton.
