Happy birthday #bookstopbrixton

Saturday at #bookstopbrixton saw us celebrate our first birthday at @brixtonstreetgym.

Thanks to everyone who showed up to support and to all our book donors we thank you for your kind donations over the years.

New works at #stockwellhalloffame

We have been busy with the project at #stockwellhalloffame organising the walls to be painted. Come check out the new works and see our Facebook page ' Stockwell hall of fame'.

Rumble in the crumble Part 2.

Today at #bookstopbrixton we have been working on our gardening and crumble making game thanks to the kind donation of apples from Ann and Derek Spencer. We also had a donation of food from the Mayor of London's kitchen social fund kindly delivered to us by the Bede centre which went out to residents on Somerleyton road.
We are growing tomatoes on the street too so things are busy here maintaining the Garden and the kitchen. As always the story is told in pictures so check out the progress so far.

New Mural at Valencia Place

The Mural of Ty by Bunny, Jason and support from this project has finally been completed at Valencia Place.
The portrait of Ty chijioke pays tribute to his creativity and legacy as a music artist. Ty passed away a few months ago and this mural will hopefully be a reminder to his friends,family and fans of his amazing achievements while he was with us and inspire others.

happy Vibes at Bede

Today young people at Bede community centre focused on creating art masterpieces based on some of the work at #stockwellhalloffame, our art project in Brixton.
The young people designed and painted the piece on the exterior of the centre wall as well as creating a range of T shirts.Thanks to all the young people who took part.here is their work.
