We were recently contacted by EE via twitter (@boydhill6) regarding the damage to #thewildgarden on Somerleyton road. Initially it was thought EE were responsible for the damage to the planters and soil but it now turns out that mobile operator 3UK were actually the network doing the work.
What makes this stranger and possibly a criminal offence is that 3UK actually used on their paperwork EE and T mobiles details as the main contractors.
We have spoken to local councillors about this but now we would really like to know from 3UK why their contractors damaged the garden and what they are going to do to clean up the mess and make the soil useable.
Contractors and mobile operators have a duty of care to the environment and communities when carrying out works. 3UK should make amends to this project for the damage.
